“As you may know, following the review process, the revised MoU was formally signed by the chief executives of PAPU and AFRAA earlier this year in January 2019 at the AFRAA Headquarters in Nairobi (Kenya).

I would add that as a consequence of this development, a resolution to reconstitute the PAPU-AFRAA Contact Committee was adopted during the 38th PAPU Administrative Council meeting in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) in June this year. This Committee is mandated to review mail routing charts, among other activities, in order to achieve successful outcomes in the above-mentioned salient areas. ….

I am pleased to announce to you that the UPU has now developed a converter, which is free of charge for airlines that exchange EDI messages on POST*Net. This big win is that the converter eases the work of airlines that neither have to capture the information manually nor pay for the conversion.
