PAPU condoles with the people of Tanzania
Following the passing on of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Dr John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, PAPU Secretary General, Mr. Younouss Djibrine, offered his condolences to the people of Tanzania on behalf of Africa’s Postal Fraternity.
Accompanied by the Assistant Secretary General, Mr. Kola Aduloju, on Tuesday, 23rd March 2021, Mr. Djibrine penned a message of sympathy and solidarity in the condolence book specially opened in the Office of the Regional Commission for Arusha.
His Excellency Dr Magufuli passed away on 17th March 2021 in Dar es Salaam due to illness.
Below is the PAPU Secretary General’s message:
Dear brothers and sisters of Tanzania
It was with great sadness and deep sorrow that we received news of the untimely demise of HE Dr. John Pombe Magufuli, President of United Republic of Tanzania, a great leader whose selfless, visionary and exemplary stewardship inspired many and will forever be etched in golden characters in the timeless annals of our continent’s history.
On this sad and tragic occasion, kindly accept our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences from Africa’s Postal Fraternity.
May the outstanding legacy and memories of the earthly sojourn of this illustrious son of Africa ease our great sense of loss and bring comfort to us all, particularly to his biological and political families, as we join hands to grieve his passing.
