KENYA’S CONSUL GENERAL IN ARUSHA VISITS PAPU

H.E. Dennis Mburu, Kenya’s Consul General was received at the Union’s Headquarters by the PAPU Secretary General Dr. Sifundo Chief Moyo today, 9th March 2023.
Following a presentation by the SG on the Union’s mandate, activities, PAPU House project and the distinguished contribution by Kenya to the Postal Sector and PAPU activities, the Consul thanked the PAPU leadership for the courtesy, reiterating the Post’s historic role as a facilitator of government and business services, particularly in communications, trade and financial inclusion, as experienced in his home country, Kenya. He commended PAPU for the ongoing megaproject equally and hoped that, as a “key ingredient” of international trade, the Post will take its rightful place, especially in the booming e-commerce market.
The visit was crowned by a guided tour of the PAPU House building site.
