Deputy Minister visits PAPU TOWERS
Tanzanian Deputy Minister for Information, Communication and Information Technology, Hon. Eng. Kundo Mathew visited the iconic Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) headquarters building to check on the progress of the building which is set for commissioning in a month to come.
Briefing him on the progress, the Secretary General of the Union, Dr. Sifundo Chief Moyo, apprised the Minister on all the construction progress and preparatory meetings for hosting the 41st Administrative Council and historic event for commissioning of the iconic PAPU Towers.
“The General Secretariat is well prepared to ensure all the two events are executed seamlessly and with the efficiency they deserve, everything is up and running. We are expecting and ready for Hon. Ministers and delegates from all Member States of Africa” said Dr. Moyo.
The Deputy Minister Eng. Kundo was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Mohammed Khamis Abdulla along with other leaders of the Ministry, Permanent Secretary-Zanzibar Mr. Shomary Omary Shomary, Chairmen of the Boards of Institutions under the Ministry, Heads of Institutions under the Ministry as well as various employees of the Ministry and Institutions under its realm.
These back-to-back Posta Combo events will take place in Arusha at the PAPU Towers – a new skyscraper which signifies modernity and a reshaped focus to the Pan African Postal sector.
