AUABC Scribe visits PAPU

Following the PAPU SG’s courtesy call on the Executive Secretary of the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption (AUABC), Mrs Charity Nchimunya, the latter honoured PAPU’s invitation on that occasion by visiting the PAPU Headquarters today, Thursday, 24th March 2022.
Reaffirming their common pledge to forge meaningful mutually-beneficial relations as sister bodies of the African Union, both leaders mooted avenues for formalized cooperation in their respective spheres of activity as policy-making organs of Africa’s supreme governmental organization.
In this regard, a joint working group has been formed to explore areas for possible future cooperation where PAPU and AUABC will advance the anti-corruption agenda in postal services, focusing on aspects like money laundering, suspicious transactions reporting, financial intelligence, trade facilitation, etc…
Among the highlights of this occasion was a presentation of the PAPU House Project and a visit to the construction site.
