PAPU 40^th Anniversary Commemorative Stamp Unveiled

In celebration of the 40^th Anniversary of the Pan African Postal Union, Egypt presented a commemorative stamp to mark the event. This was unveiled on 18^th January 2020 in Arusha, in the presence of the Minister of Works, Transport and Communications of Tanzania, Hon. Eng. Isaack Aloyce Kamwelwe, personal representative  of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli.

The unveiling of the commemorative stamp and affixing of the first cancellation mark was witnessed by a large audience featuring eminent personalities like Ambassador Bishar Hussein (Director General of the UPU), Mr. Younouss Djibrine (Secretary General of PAPU) and Mr. Essam El Saghir (CEO of Egypt Post), to name a few.
