UGANDA ARUSHA CONSULATE TOURS PAPU HOUSE.
Amb. Anne Katusiime Kageye, the head of Uganda High Commission Arusha Consulate has paid visit to the ongoing construction of the PAPU House.
Amb. Kageye applauded the efforts done by the PAPU administration in ensuring the postal services are being a positive conduit to e-commerce and financial inclusion.
Ms. Jessica Ssengooba, the Assistant Secretary General to PAPU, briefly shared PAPU the mandates as specialized Africa Union Agency responsible for coordinating all activities aimed at developing postal services on the African continent.
“Uganda has been an active member; we always appreciate the readiness of the Uganda in supporting the union initiatives and as we speak the construction project of the PAPU building has benefited from Uganda’s contributions as well” she stated.
The PAPU building is in the final stages of completion whereby its commissioning is expected to take place in next two months from now. The building will host PAPU, TCRA, Tanzania Postal Corporations offices and other renting spaces.
