PAPU SG visits DRC

In the build-up to the 40th Ordinary Session of the Union’s Administrative Council to be hosted by the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Kinshasa come early July this year, the country’s Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and ICT invited the Secretary General for a 3-day working visit from 11th to 14th April, that will culminate in the official signing of a Hosting MoU between PAPU and DRC.
Mr Sifundo Chief Moyo’s programme features courtesy calls on key senior government officials to raise awareness and enlist their support for Africa’s Postal Agenda.
Regular highlights of the SG’s second official trip out of Arusha will be reported as it unfolds.
The DRC is a longstanding PAPU and UPU Member State that is looking to reposition and leverage the Post as an innovator and integrator for sustainable, inclusive socioeconomic development.
