Leveraging Postal diplomacy for digital transformation and innovation
On the sidelines of the 6th edition of the International Exhibition on Information Technology and Innovation codenamed OSIANE 2022, held from 26th to 30th April 2022 in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, PAPU’s Secretary General was received in audience today 27th April 2022 by the Honourable Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy of Congo, Mr. Léon Juste Ibombo.
Mr. Moyo used the occasion to pay a warm tribute to the Republic of Congo for its historic role in laying a solid foundation for our Union, particularly by giving PAPU its pioneer Secretary General, Mr. Edouard Madingou, who was in office from 1980 to 1982.
On his part, the Honourable Minister reiterated his country’s commitment to rekindle its active participation in PAPU activities in the years ahead and infuse fresh momentum into La Poste du Congo by tapping into the boundless opportunities offered by digitalization, innovation and the booming e-commerce market.
The PAPU Scribe will deliver a presentation on PAPU and Africa’s postal industry during the roundtable conference slated for 28th April 2022.
