PAPU Day 2023 celebrated in Dodoma, Tanzania

The 43rd anniversary of Africa’s flagship postal organization is being commemorated today, 18th January 2023, in Tanzania’s capital, Dodoma. The theme for this year “The Post: An established promoter of cross-border e-commerce in Africa” translates the digitalization drive resolutely pursued by the continent’s postal players to transform service delivery for greater customer satisfaction in a digitally-driven world.
Presided by the Minister of information, Communication and ICT of Tanzania, in the presence of the Chairman of the PAPU Administrative Council Mr Richard, the PAPU Secretary General Dr Sifundo C. Moyo, the Regional Commissioner for Dodoma and other senior government officials, activities kicked off yesterday, 17th January, with a Postal Stakeholders Conference.
