PAPU, the Post, UCSAF and Tanzania’s postal regulator agree to transform the Post

The Secretary General of the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU), Mr. Sifundo Chief Moyo, was in Tanzania’s political capital, Dodoma, to celebrate World Post Day. Accompanied by the Assistant Secretary General, Mrs. Ssengooba Jessica, he met alternately with the Postmaster General of Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC), the Director General of Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA), and the Director General of the Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF).

To each of the above officials, the PAPU scribe congratulated them for their efforts in their respective spheres of activity. “TPC is already on track towards digital transformation and should not stop its march. UCSAF must continue to work towards bridging the digital divide, while TCRA must always stand by the postal sector to support it,” said Mr Moyo.

He was accompanied during the audiences by Mrs. Sseengooba Jessica, Assistant Secretary General.
