China’s Ambassador to AU/UNECA visits PAPU

H.E. Hu Chang Chun led a 4-person delegation that paid a courtesy call on the PAPU General Secretariat yesterday, 12 September 2023 at 3pm in the PAPU Tower, the Union’s newly-inaugurated Headquarters Building.
Following a synoptic presentation of PAPU by the SG, Dr Sifundo Chief Moyo, the Ambassador saluted the Union’s efforts over the last 43 years in driving the African integration agenda, particularly as a facilitator of multidimensional service delivery, and fostering international cooperation.
He highlighted the merits of cooperation with China, specifically by drawing on his country’s self-driven development model, in advancing Africa’s Postal digitalisation agenda for the ultimate benefit of the continents citizenry.
The visit closed with a guided tour of the PAPU Tower.
